MICHAEL LINGARD

Michael Lingard established one of this country’s first Holistic Clinics, in 1981 (The
Wealden Clinic). He is a member of the Scientific & Medical Network and was a
council member of the Natural Medicines Society, and trained as a Buteyko Method
practitioner in with BIBH Trainer Jenny Stark. Michael is currently trying to persuade local
PCTs to trial the Buteyko Method on the NHS, to improve therapy options and save
money for the NHS. He is attending an International Conference in Brisbane in
November 2007 to present a paper and will gather best-practice experience from the
many established therapists attending, which will be integrated into the course at the
Wellington Square Natural Health Centre.
