Steve Mason

Steve Mason relocated to Sussex in 2006 having established a busy private practice in London where he treated a wide range of people - men and women of all ages including stressed city workers, pregnant women, professional sports men and well-known celebrities.

As an experienced NHS-listed therapist, Steve takes referrals from GPs and other therapists and uses his extensive knowledge of massage anatomy and physiology to treat a wide range of ailments ranging from back, neck and shoulder problems such as frozen shoulder and sciatica, to sports and every day injuries. He also works with patients suffering from stress and depression, sleeping problems, high and low blood pressure. Steve believes that Massage Therapy is a perfect treatment for everybody: 'It is not just for the injured or ill, the superfit or the unhealthy, the athlete or even the couch potato. I have considerable experience of treating people from all walks of life, both male and female and of all ages,' he believes.

Steve also offers Sporst Massage Therapy. This is a particularly deep and remedial massage which helps in the recovery of muscular injury, and/or to help provide relief from the many stresses of our busy everyday lives

Steve trained at a number of well known institutions including The London School of Sports Massage, one of the most prestigious schools in the country and works a number of therapeutic techniques including Sports and Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Clinical Aromatherapy, Holistic Relaxation Massage, Indian Head Massage and Traditional Thai (Yoga) Massage. Which such a wide skills base he is able to adapt every treatment to the individual's needs to produce the most positive effects. He has worked at the celebrated Neal's Yard Therapy Rooms in Covent Garden, before moving to East Sussex.
