SAMVIDA SWIFT

Samvida Swift (BSc (Hons), RCST, NIMH) is an active member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and is a registered Craniosacral Therapist.  She is also a qualified ITEC teacher and spent a year as the director of an exclusive Caribbean health spa where she trained many young therapists.

Samvida has studied Ayurvedic Medicine in India and has worked with Shiatsu techniques in Japan.  Samvida completed a series of bodywork and healer training courses by qualifying as a Sports injury therapist in 1996.  In 2002 she graduated as a Medical herbalist and now uses herbal preparations in the treatment of injuries.  Samvida’s clinics are run on a holistic basis, where treatments are tailored to the needs of the individual and may include Deep Tissue Massage, Postural Treatment, Craniosacral Biodynamics, Reflexology and Herbal Medicine.

Samvida’s therapeutic approach to Sports Injuries can be invaluable for both acute and chronic injuries, and may include passive and active exercise;  nuero-fascial and trigger point release, ultrasound therapy, mobilisation of joints, re-education for postural problems and post-operative care.

Samvida is available for appointments at 44 Wellington Square on Wednesdays from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 midday and on Saturdays from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
