COUNSELLING WITH FLOWER REMEDIES
Counselling offers you a safe, confidential and secure place where you can talk through and explore problems without fear of judgment. It also helps us to understand ourselves better and therefore increase our potential. Counselling with Bach Flower Remedies (see below) offers you the additional support with the remedy between consultations. The Counsellor does not give you ‘advice’ but offers you a supportive relationship where you can freely express your feelings and with encouragement find your own solutions.
Many people recognise Bach Rescue Remedy in its bright bottle, but may not know that there are 38 other remedies, all for specific needs. These safe and gentle remedies are each homoeopathically prepared from an infusion of flowers or plants and preserved in alcohol.
When we are out of balance, we feel unwell or unhappy. Bach Flower Remedies balance us so that we can feel vibrant and well. They are ‘energetic’ – different from ‘herbal’ remedies. Completely safe and non-habit forming, they have no side-effects and there is therefore no danger of overdose. They can be taken by everyone, including very young children and pregnant women.
They can help with the following:
• Negative emotions such as fearfulness, uncertainty, disinterest, loneliness, over-sensitivity and
despair
• Excessive concern for other people
• Any physical problems arising from emotional problems
Bach Flower Remedies are not intended directly to relieve the physical symptoms of an ailment. Dr. Bach believed that harmful emotions were the main cause of disease, and he sought to treat moods such as fear, anger, guilt and depression in order to restore the harmony of mind and body necessary for good health.
Although Bach Flower Remedies can be bought in many chemists, it is often difficult to work out which is best for your own situation or circumstances. A combination of these remedies may, in fact, work best for you – and this is where a professional can help.

What Counselling with Flower Remedies did for me
‘I thought you might like an update on how my son Chris has been doing over the last few months since he finished meeting with you.
I am delighted to say he has gone from strength to strength.
He now attends school on Monday and Wednesday mornings only - normal lessons. Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoons he attends ACE, the alternative centre for education where he has 1:1 tuition on English, Maths, Design and Technology and Anger Management and Friday's he now attends a motor mechanics course at a proper garage in Brighton. All this has been arranged through the school and is in line with his GCSE courses which he starts in July when he goes up into Year 10.
Not only that but everyday now he meets his friends from school and they either go down the beach or to the park and play football. He has a girlfriend who loves him to bits and is out with his mates every weekend. Even my dad has remarked on what a popular boy he is. There is always a crowd of kids at the school gates to see him off when he finishes school at lunch times. He has grown physically as well and we are now on the home straight of puberty.
The work you did with him was definitely the turning point in his life. He was so sad and dejected back then, you wouldn't recognise the happy, outgoing confident chap I now have. I am really pleased we found you, I just wanted to give you a BIG THANK YOU for helping Chris.’ SC
