(EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES)
Emotional Freedom Techniques is a powerful technique that helps you take control of your body and your thoughts. The technique was developed by Gary Craig in 1990, and has its roots in Acupuncture, Kinesiology and Psychology. The technique has shown impressive results in resolving personal problems, shifting behaviour patterns, altering attitude and outlook to life, decreasing stress and restoring life balance.
EFT is painless – but highly effective at dealing with psychological or even physiological problems, delivering real results within a short time. It can help combat chronic physical pain, help with fears and phobias (from fear of flying to animal phobias), tackle addictions or lead to other important life changes. EFT is a gentle ‘meridian therapy’ which works by stimulating the acupuncture meridians on the body to release emotions. (We ‘feel’ emotions in the body – muscles will tighten when we are stressed, for example.) Emotional Freedom Techniques involves tapping specific acupuncture points with the fingers. During your sessions you will learn how to perform this technique on yourself, so that you use it, as needed, in your daily life.
When is Emotional Freedom Techniques available at Wellington Square?
Emotional Freedom Techniques is available during group workshops and also one-to-one with highly experienced EFT practitioner Ranjana Appoo.
EFT Group Sessions are a great way to get the benefits of EFT and may provide a budget alternative to personal EFT sessions. Group EFT work makes use of the EFT concept of ‘Borrowing Benefits’.
‘Teamwork Borrowing Benefits’ allows someone with little or no experience in EFT to tap along while someone else who is undergoing EFT (e.g. in a session, seminar, group or video) and experience profound benefits. This is true even though the issues being tapped on appear to be widely different.
This means that you may attend a Group session with any issue you would like help with. Remember EFT works for every emotional or physical issue you may have been labelled with.
These EFT Group sessions are not support groups. You are not there to share your issue and are under no obligation to do so. These EFT groups are to get practical results to improve your situation.
These relaxed, informal evenings (from 6.15 p.m. – 7.45 p.m.) are being hosted on the first Monday of the month during 2008 on:

These group sessions are priced at £18 per person, or £15 if you pre-book.
In addition, Ranjana Appoo is available on Friday afternoons for one-on-one Emotional Freedom Techniques sessions, priced at £60 for one hour.
