YOGA
MOTHER & BABY POST-NATAL RECOVERY
(from 6 weeks to crawling)

Post-natal Yoga classes bring together Yoga and relaxation practices that are beneficial for both mother and baby. For mothers these classes help with the physical recovery by strengthening the pelvic floor, stabilising the pelvis, toning the abdominal and lower back muscles and relieving the aches and pains that come with looking after a baby.

They also rebalance the emotions through relaxation and breathing techniques, and generally help mothers cope with the highs and lows of their new life.

For babies Yoga can relieve common ailments such as colic, wind and constipation, as well as encouraging good feeding and promoting restful sleep. Most importantly these classes provide mothers a friendly and supporting space to discover another way to bond and have lots of fun with their babies!

No Yoga experience is needed, but mothers are required to fill in a health questionnaire before starting the class.
