NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

Nutritional Therapy was once just a question of 'healthy eating' and perhaps taking vitamins. Nowadays it is far more tailored to the individual. A great many long-term health problems that draw a blank with NHS practitioners can be helped with a tailor-made nutritional health programme.

Nutritional Therapy is particularly helpful to combat Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), migraine, skin problems, low energy levels, digestive problems, menstrual and premenstrual problems, prostate problems and children's ailments like glue ear and hyperactivity. Cures have also been achieved for more serious problems like arthritis, angina and asthma, although the response is more variable. Nutritional Therapy is also extremely valuable for individuals who want to lose weight. Linda's approach to weight loss is holistic, taking into account not just calories but also hormonal causes of weight gain, and food cravings.

What can I expect?
You will be asked to fill in a detailed questionnaire about diet and lifestyle and have an in-depth chat about your health, stress levels etc. In some cases, you may be recommended to have a blood test, or in some instances give a stool sample to be sent for analysis. (This can show, for example, if you have an overload of Candida albicans or other harmful organisms, or how well you are digesting your food.) Please feel free to download and print the Nutritional Therapy Questionnaire, or ask for one at Reception. You will need to complete this and bring it with you to your first session.

Free initial chat
If you are not sure whether nutritional therapy can help you, or what tests you might need, just phone Reception to book a 15-minute free chat with Linda at no obligation.
